YAY!!! some one that loves half life 2 like i do
i love you icon (and i hate teh striders)
i just finished beating the game for the second time, and only a few days ago did i realize that the RPG follows your cursor once launched. I learnt it at the part under the bridge and i spent AGES just firing rockets and making cool patterns and making them loop towards me, away from me, towards me and so on and so on. That means that i beat the game and a half without knowing that. I thought that the RPG automatically swings around to hit the enemy...otherwise it would (for some strange reason) fly straight towards me, then faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar away and back
now that i learnt that, i could take down striders and flying things in seconds...not like you care or anything
But General Odessa Cubbage sid learly "This steerable Rocket Launcher is our best"
I already passed HL2 atleast 5 times on hard, and now I'm just playing around creating striders and make them fight against the Alyxes armored with rockets lol .
If you like HL2 then you would prabably like the roject I and ~raiki15 are making now. But not sure when we finish it beacause it's an animation and I'm having some dificulties (laziness) in doingthe backgrounds in flash.

hahaha, if you don't want to spend much time on the background, but still want them to look good, make a radial of one colour, then move it somewhere else and change it to another colour and so on. Then make it all tween together. If it doesn't look good for that one (which i can't wait to see) than its just a good tip for the future.
i also don't listen to what they say much, im just in it for the action
in fact, i don't think i ever played it on hard yet. I forgot there was a difficulty level. ill try soon. I love striders and i love the super zombies. the ones that run around and climb gutter drains and leap from building to building. Thats why Ravenholm is my favorite level (i also love the metal disks used for throwing at the zombies)
nope, never radial, never gradent, only cell shading.
mostly beacause I don't know very well to use gradients properly, second reason is that It will looks as a crappy "Blow me away" (a stupid jerky HL2 flash on newgrounds) , third reason is that I'm a god in cell shading (one day maybe I'll upload the strider I made, or you'll be able to see it in TTL2).
BTW it-s not "super zombies", it's "Fast Zombies", and yup, the razors combined with ZGM is the best to take them down (apart from a shotgun or a crossbow), ever tried to nail someone with the crossbow in the most undescribable directions possible?

my aiming must be off or something, cause even if there right next to me and i blow a clear shotgun shot straight at there heads, they still don't die, it takes two ammo. i never tried a crossbow on them, cuase crossbows are esier when the dudes staying still and, well you get the picture.
i love teh crossbow. especially nailing a guy in the head so he flies backwards off his platform. my fav weapon (accept for the rpg) is the super gravity gun. its amazing to grab them and fling them like rag dolls.
i hate the barnacles to, the suck. I love it when you throw a flamable tank at a big cluster of them. They slowly pring it up, and when its all the way up, you explode it and kill all the barnacles
